Here's a few

Those are a really wonderful set of images! Love these, the Pickerel is so clear and I love the water splash in the last one. Perfection!

Here's a couple more for good measure;

WARNING: Dumb Question Coming!

What equipment (box, lens, and filters) did you use to get those shots?

This is exactly what I want to do in photography!

Great Shots!
Randy

1DmkII on both images, the top image was with the 100-400mm.. and I was really too far away from the bird for that lens. I think that image is very close to being a full 100% crop :( (still shows that the 100-400mm is pretty damn good even cropped!)
The 100-400mm "might" have had a UV filter on it that day.. in fact it's likely as I was on a boat in salt water..

The second image is from about 12 feet away with the 200mm f/1.8L (no filter)
That image is cropped only very slightly on the side for "artistic" purposes. I could print that at 24" x 24" and it would have tons of detail.

Great job Sp00ks - both are awesome! ... personally; the one at the damn really captures Freely's look ... like my wife just said - it looks like Freely with his puzzled look!

Here is mine, it was one of my first shots taken with my 70-200 f/2.8 IS, so that is why it is sllightly off.

Gr8outdrsmn - just so I can understand what you see in your photo ... could you elaborate on what you see as being off.

I have that same lens too and shoot tons of GBH shots

I'm not sure if I see the same thing as everyone else ....

I just felt that it wasn't as sharp as it could have been because i was using all focus points instead of just the center, but i could be wrong. I am overly critical of my pictures sometimes.

It took me a little time to get used to mine. This is a good shot but it could be a tad sharper.

I got my first this afternoon while looking for Eagles. I never saw one sitting in a tree before - it caught me by surprise.
