my new "lens"

i aquired a new "lens" today

it is probably the cheapest, smallest, lightest, most abuse resistant "lens" that money can buy.
even water wont damage it (but it will still ruin the body you have attached)

now for the Bad news.
it is a 51mm f234 so it is really really slow, no autofocus (actually no focus at all)

here it is attached to my old Eos300

what can I say "hidden L" you should put a red ring around it, or maybe dust sucker (should not be a real problem). I doubt the images will get sharper outside they just will be romantically soft. Auto focus tho'. Have fun.

Nice lens, buddy, nice lens. Goes to show, a camera is nothing but a light-tight container with an orifice that can be covered and uncovered. Everything else is an assesory.

i did the same with my film slr a few years back, the results werw quite fun lol. I buggered it up eventually by making too big a hole.

That's how I got started... hmmm, how many years.... about 28 years ago and I took some damn fine shots with a pinhole camera

i will take some photos outside where there is plenty of sunlight, i work nightshift so this may take a few days, when i have some i will post them
