Didn't get any of Bill Oddie and Kate Humble - but the birds were interesting. I'll be going back soon for the influx of Hoopers.

These are all non-natives so I don't know what they are.

Nice shots :)

I'll be returning later in the week so that I can identify the birds I photographed today.

I love Martin Mere, it's a place you can easily loose yourself in, and there are so many photographic opportunities.

Here’s a Chiloe Wigeon, I think!

Nice going with these. I especially like the first and last shots for the pose and colors of these guys.

Hi - Excellent shots, was thinking of going myself today but the thought of film crews everywhere put me off. Your species are from the top - Mandarin (female - Asian & British), Hooded Merganser (Pair - North American) and the rest are Red-crested Pochard (female first male bottom - European etc)
Dave.

You local then? It's great that they are filming there - but there are cables and lights all over the place.

Hi - Localish, I'm in mid-cheshire but it's only about an hour on the M6. I do love the place, I was a very active birder who has drifted toward photography rather than twitching so it's a dream place for me.
Dave.
