Long story short. Audubon eagle cordinator for Fl. knows I like taking eagle pictures. A rancher way out in the sticks called her and told her if she wanted to see a once in a life time sight where to go on his property. Met her there tonight. Wow ! We only got there 1/2 hour before sunset and the sun was behind some rain clouds so picture ops were terrible. What we did see was 18 eagles of all ages performing their cart wheels and doing what eagles do at a eagle gathering ( including sex ) with all kinds of vocalizations. I have been sworn to secrecy. Will be going back with a plan to do these birds justice cause not sure how long they will still keep returning nightly.

Sorry for rambling. Just got home and adrenaline is still flowing.

Wow what a great show. I finally got see a Bald Eagle in the wild 2 weeks ago. A pair came flying at show center for the Rockford Airfest, they flew in durring the Thunderbirds show while they where playing proud to be a american. Timing on that gave a lot of people goose bumps :D Was not staged either, completely wild birds.
