This pic is my first attempt and low light and longer shutter speed settings. Let me know what you think and what I could do to make the picture better. I dont remember the exact camera settings but i do know it was my kit lens. Thanks for looking and responding.

That's an awesome shot. The kit lens didn't let you down. I think it's a great first shot. You should do more.

Im not that good at photoshop yet, still learning alot. Is there anything I can do to improve on the pic. That pic is pretty much straight out of the camera.

if you use firefox you can install a widget that gives it to you on right click over an image...if it wasn't scrubbed during save-for-web-size

Its a Browser like Internet Explorer. If the EXIF data hasn't been striped in post processing one can see it by simply saving a copy and right clicking to see the properties advanced summary for the data.

Very nice image. I love night shots, this is a pretty good one IMO. Where was it taken?

BTW - a little shadows/hightlights does wonders to this image.

Firefox is free for downloading. I highly recommend it.

It looked like Alaska, or at least other pictures of Alaska I've seen....

Shadows/highlights is a tool in CS2. I don't know if it's available in any of the other Adobe Elements products.
