I need your help to choose a right UV filter for my new 85mm F/1.2L.
It seems to me there's big difference in price 15-100$
Do you know if this one is good enough?

It's not advertised as being multicoated - it's probably a low-end filter that you should avoid. If you intend to use a UV filter for "protection" (something I don't believe in), you should get the absolute best quality multicoated filter that is available.

Make sure you use the lens hood every time the lens is out of the case, and you'll be protected quite well enough for everything but the nastiest conditions such as in blowing sand, salt sea spray, or a rainstorm.

On an exellent lens like that, I would use only a high quality multi-coated filter. I don't think the one on ebay is multi-coated.

You want the Hoya SHMC Pro1 filters (external link), these are the top of the hoya range and are multicoated on both sides. Hoya technology note (external link).

Always use a lens hood unless you are using a macro lens so close to the subject you can't or using flash where the hood might get in the way.

The SHMC or SHMC Pro1 are both fine filters. Each have 12 layers of coating and an effective light transfer of around 99.7%.
The first filter you looked at is Hoya's bottom of the line version. It is uncoated and has a EFT of around 85%. As most times is the case, you get what you pay for.

As long as you got a high quality skylight it should be fine.

How do I know if it is high quality "multi coated, made in Japan" does not help I guess :D

My filter is made by Tokina.

At least it is multicoated, but it may only be multicoated on one side.

The only ones I can give a hands on recommendation for are the Hoya SHMC Pro1. These I know have flat ground glass and are multicoated on both sides of the glass.

B&W also are recommended by some but I am not sure what the top end is in these.
