Bird in the sky

This is one of my first photos that I took with my new lense that I got yesterday. I took the photo with EF 75-300mm lense. The light was really bad outside but I think the photo is quite nice. This is the first picture I have posted up here. I'm still learning to use my camera. lol

Hey there Vicky, just thought I'd show you what's possible with a bit of processing in Photoshop - of course you don't have to use Photoshop as any photo processing software will do. Your image was extremely under-exposed and yet with a couple of minutes work you're able to get a half decent image out of it, albeit a bit noisy! Look on the bright side, at least you managed to keep track of a bird in flight and get it in the frame - keep on practising and trying out different settings to see how they effect the final result. Have fun with your new lens (and filter )

Thanks, I have photoshop. I never thought of trying to lighten the picture up a bit tbh. Ah well i'm still learning.
