well, heres my first ever post with an image attached.
took this yesterday from my room. funny thing is, i was just sitting at my computer and all i heard was this thing singing away, grabbed my camera and just as i took the shot the sun beamed directly on it. sounds like something out of some disney movie eh :grin:
well, i hope you like it. shot with a 350D, 70-300 sigma apo DG @ 300mm handheld.
i thought it was a bit early for one of these wee fella's

Well, the bird is a little to small in the frame. You did get great lighting though and the exposure looks good. Too bad it is so small as the singing pose it gave you looks like a good one! Now that the first image posting jitters are gone just keep it up!:D

thanks mate. i kow what you mean about how small it is. i should maybe crop in a bit an see how that looks.

Very small but you caught him singing! Keep taking and submitting and they'll get better!

yeah, the roof/ what is pain eh.
even cropping it actually looks ok but im sure i need/want longer reach.
thanks for the comments guys. got loads more photos to post. not all wildlife/birds though.
just bought sigma 17-70 the other day and to me its tac sharp so me and my mate went on a photo spree the other day around glasgow so i will post some more later

Nice picture and better now you cropped it,if i was you i would save up and buy the Bigma and the 100 - 400L and then give one of the lenses to your mate Brido for nuthin.
