If you don't mind me asking, what did you do to add the warmth? Just boosted the colours up a bit?

Thanks Art!

Dimitry: The natural photo itself had quite a bit of warmth to begin with since i was using late evening sunlight(big window to the left side of the image). Doing the overlay process i mentioned enhanced that effect as it boosts the saturation as well.In fact I had to dial the saturation down a bit after this step.

Though i didnt do this,if you want you can also add a color layer to add even more warmth and then play around with layer modes to see which one works best.

What a cute little guy. Nicely done. If I may make on suggestion, or at least an observation. His face appears to be dirty between his eye and his chin on the right side (his right). It cleans up fairly nicely with the clone tool set to lighten at 50% opacity. Normally, I wouldn't even mention it as dirty faces and children kind of go together but it seems a little out of place given the satin looking sheet. Food for thought. Again, very nice.

Very nice lighting. I'd suggest maybe getting down to his level for some shots.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

Thanks guys!
Norm: I get what you are saying, but the area you are mentioning isnt dirty rather its a shadow on his face :)
gkuenning: I normally shoot him from his eye level, but this time i shot deliberately from top, and in fact used a step ladder to get up higher and shoot down. Here's are a couple of my earlier shots at his eye level :)

Excellent work, real eye-grabbers. That first one is exceptional, both the photo and the post processing used. The softness of the light and the overall tones achieved are quite nice. And a very cute little model too.

I'm the father of 2 toddlers. Someone once told me "You spend the first 2 years teaching them to walk and talk....and the next 16 to sit down and be quiet" :-)

Love all your shots. I bet you have about a million GB's worth of photos from this little guy.
