Any opinions on this lens?

I'm wanting to shoot some Bantam Ice Hockey and I have a chance to pic up this lens for about $300.00 cheaper than the Sigma 70-200 f2.8. Would this lens get me some good shots on my Rebel Xt?

Anybody use this lens?

check out the FM reviews. It's pretty good if not a bit heavy. Make sure it's the PRO version as there is a non-PRO which is not as good.

i think the tokina's af will be slower than sigma's hsm. and this may prove tricky when shooting sports. do think it over carefully.
