I'm normally a total macrophotographer but thought the sunrise this morning was rather nice- taken as a 4 shot pano with my Tamron 28-75mm handheld. Only PP was a slight increase in saturation.

Welcome to Landscape Land, Brian! :)

Very nice debut - superb colours and exposure. There is something odd though about the clouds in the middle even in the larger image. Were they moving quite fast?

A good first attempt but a little over sharpened IMO.

It's strange seeing you in here Brian, so a warm welcome. :) Was it strange for you to see the "big" world? ;)

Thanks for the comments all :)- I do sometimes take non-macro pics
You are right about the clouds- think the pano software made a mess on an overlap- will try to do some hand patching.
OK did it again with just 2 shots and virtually zero overlap.

That is now an excellent landscape photograph, Brian.

You raised the bar in Macro world for image quality - looks like you're set to do the same here! :)

Thanks again for the comments :)
Mike- don't think you'll get much competition from me- I tend only to take shots I find interesting or sufficiently different to the norm to make them interesting so I suspect not many landscapes :) but will probably try some seascapes as the sea is just 600 yds down the road :)
