This has to be one of the best 'in flight' shots I've seen in a long while, I love it! To me though the crop is just a wee bit to tight around the bird and it also looks a little dark, imo it could look even better with a bit of pp work.

Outstanding though, thanks for sharing. Was it taken hand-held?

great shot need to try and get some shots that close to them with the ones around this area but they are allways so high in the sky it seems was it luck to get so close? if not how did you do it ?

At Gigrin Farm they put out meat every day to bring raptors - mainly the red kites, but buzzards aren't daft - within easy viewing (and photographing) distance.

I imagine that this guy was coming down to get in on the action when Capture took the shot.

Nothing "common" about this image..A stunning capture. Great detail, excellent exposure and a really wonderful angle.
