A shot taken in August when a Northern ( Yellow Shafted) Flicker landed on a bird bath in my yard for a drink. Canon 400 F5.6 on a 30D Note: 2 more images added on page 2

That's a great shot, Gary. Very "up close and personal"! I don't get to see the front of these and other similar birds too often since they're usually always clinging to sides of trees. :)
