^ Now that's how to bring a thread "back up"... Hehhehehehhe... Very nice, Manish... BTW, did you use a single light source (beauty dish perhaps) on this shot? Anyhoo... One for the road...

Love the smile, on the little girl. ;)

As for the light source, yeap, once single light coming from the left, and also the Sun acting as a light source, from the right, and behind her. That's where the highlights in her hair come from, in this particular shot. I used gridded octabox. ;)

And thanks.

Bummer. Computer problems again? If so, install windoze on your mac's, and you'll be good. ;)

I have replaced a desktop, two laptops and all 3 external drives. Only thing left old is my printer and a monitor.

Now I have to configure all this stuff...

Yikes. Sounds painful. :(

I recently reconfigured my machine, cause I was running out of space. Replaced a bunch of drives, with 1TB drives, and now, use the old drives as scratch disks, for PS. Machine is running well, but, man that thing kicks out some heat, even with 4 fans internally!

Amazing swirl bokeh. This lens and the 135L really have a pronounced swirl effect.

Edit: I just looked up what causes this and apparently lots of lens do. I guess the pronounced effect in your picture is a product of you picking out the perfect spot to exhibit the effect :D (a bit of foreground and lots of background foliage).

From my experience, the 85L is really mild in that effect. The 35 gives a much more artistic bokeh.

Such a sharp lens! I don't think I could post a more appropriate photo to show just how prickly it is!
