Lovely photo Pham. However, I think I would've used a faster aperture to achieve more separation from the background and less motion blur.

beauty is every where, you just got to find it! even in Bad Weather ...

i am trying new stuff all the time, today i challenged my self to find beauty in the weirdest places, just a street corner here in my town near campus...

Crazy...Imagine, the DoF would be almost non-existent if you used the 25mm tube. O.o

This is killer. Mikes abstract florals are some of my favorite work I see here on POTN. :D

Wish I could even dream of ever having the money for that beast.

Nothing personal, but I don't see anything special about pham's last photo. Just my honest opinion.

The reason I like it is it really captures the feel of the moment. The mono-chormatic feel the extreme back light of the subject and the slight motion in the subject all helps re-enforce the statement. You can almost feel the rain and the cold. It reminds me of a scene in the great Martin Scorsese film Taxi Driver. The same kind of color and feel.

Hell yeah. Agree with you 100% AFM. There is nothing special about a photo anymore unless it is technically perfect or 100% unique.
