Hey, I've bought a ton of stuff from ProPhoto but never rented anything -- what kind of lenses to they have for rent there? Any other cool stuff to rent?

Here's the list, it's pretty complete. Here's a link to the rental dept that lists items and prices. There's a little dust in the glass but nothing visible so far on pics. It's actually a really quick process too. The other great thing is the prices. I called yesterday on my lunch for the 17-40 and picked it up at 3:30 and don't need to return it until 10am monday and it still only charges me for one day!

ninja edit! wow thatr looked a lot more organized when I typed it haha here's the link:

Pham, is there a benefit to shooting at ISO 50 over 100 for portraits? I thought 50 was mainly used for long exposure night shots for low noise.

well it is 1 stop less. That can be used to have a wider aperture out doors without topping out the shutter at 1/8000.. or atleast that's my experience..

Also the iso 50 files on a 1d2n are a lot larger than iso 100 shots.

yea.. i was on the edge of having to use my ND filter. .but i was able to handle the sun with 1/1000 and 2 speed lights.

but the main purpose is to lower my shutter speeds so my speed lights would show up.. haha.

Chris and I were talking about ProPhoto because they are a Portland, OR (local to us) shop. LensRental is indeed a good outfit.
