Alain is it outdoor during a festival and semi candid ? or pausing indoor for a marriage party

... as usual very nice shot ..

outdoor and semi candid, the kid was waiting for the parade to start and posing, but I waited for him to be distracted and shoot a different image from the others

this is for Gion Matsuri, same festival as the last image I posted (the maiko mouth in white)

continuation of the Aurielle Bridal Series i have 2 more to share after this one..

here i have Aurielle lighted up by a single Light on a Red Wall boomed by Ryan O Hicks

pretty simple method but if done correctly it looks great.. well of course if you have Aurielle anything looks great.. even a flash light.. LOL..

power of the Elinchrom Quadra was around 2.3 and the Deep Octa was about 4 feet way camera left

I'm wonderding how far away from the wall your subject was? The light seems so even that there's hardly shadows behind... wonderful work, my good man. (kudos to you and ryan on the teamwork)

Thanks! This is actually my favorite of these. I mainly wanted to post this 'window in the rain' shot, but threw the others in just because I haven't really contributed much, despite owning this amazing lens for 4 years now.

she was about 2-3 feet away from the wall if i remember correctly..
click on the photo and you can see the set up shot in the flickr stream about 1/2 way down, ryan has a set up shot..

@ Allen, have you posted that church before? i remember seeing it before.. not that shot but something like that

another romantic wedding shot of Aurielle and Josh.

lighting was held by Ryan O Hicks with radio poppers in Ettl mode. In 28 inch westcott with a broken spoke.. lol, but still usable

it took us about 3 mins to set up and shot this shot..

Radio Poppers made this pretty simple and fast

Softbox was camera right about 8 feet away
