m.shalaby, those are great examples of getting good results by stopping down a bit!

Great pictures! That's the reason I sold my 135 f2L, the 85 1.2L can do even better :-)

Instead of the 135L + 200 2.8L if bought the 70-200 2.8L non IS for more versatility.
35L + 85L stay my bokehlicious portraitlenses!

Janelle Senior ~ Yellow Flower Patch

working on Janelle's senior photo portfolio..

the lighting here was all faked sun light..

2 AB1600 were used..

camera right rear for fake back lighting being it was really just cloudy and dark outside and cold !

key lighting was @ 1/2 power with 60 PLM mother held down the light so it wouldn't blow over

back lighting was AB1600 at 1/2 power with yellow gel..

looks like a sunny day eh? not !

all lights triggered by the Consistent firing Cactus V5's

Thanks a lot! I still love my 135L compression vs. the 85L though... its just a tricker lens to use and a bit limiting (headshots, to half body shots), but anything further and I pull out the 85L... both awsome lenses and honestly its hard to tell the two apart.

I can see the 135L is more pleasing for headshots, more flattering on the subject... ever so slightly.

I really like 1 & 4 (I commented at length on another thread) and if you like the 135 you should give the 200 2L a spin. It would work very well in your hands. ;)
