Does it not work as good on the 40D? OR is it just better on the 5D. Or is it the crop factor?

I heard about problems when shooting : after 5 shots, battery is empty. The test i made in my store reveal this problem. He use a noName battery (official Canon dealer already ! - in France). 5D² 40 pancake | 50/1.4 | 85L II | 135L | 16-35L IS | 24-105L | 70-200 f2.8 L IS II and a TT bike

GMCPhotographics Goldmember More info | Oct 25, 2008 09:24 | #1453 Have you considered the 50L? It's better suited to the 40D. I have a 85L and a 40D and it's a bit long. I get regular AF issues at f1.2 which I don't get with my 85L on my 5D or 135L on my 5D either. Regards, Gareth Cooper GMCPhotographics
