Eastcoast Sunset

I live on the "Sunrise Coast" so this is about as good as I could manage for a sunset the other day. Taken at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park between Saint Augustine and Daytona Florida.

I love the angle you used here and the picture has a real 'arty' feel about it!

For my liking - there's too much foreground, I think it distracts; and you could do with cloning out the con-trail...

Otherwise, a nice capture...

I second Lee. If the foreground would have more light, that would change the situation. Sky is very nice looking and could have a more dominant role.

I'll have to back up Lee also Robert _ the sky and silhouetted Palms look really good.

Thank you all very much for the kind words and for the feedback on the foreground and contrails as well. It's a place, God willing, I will be going back to often so, when I can manage a nice sky, I'll take some with less foreground.

Nice looking shot Robert and I like your choice of the angle but maybe a little less dark FG, other that that great capture.

Yeah, I consider this one a lesson learned Frank. First, I should have taken shots with more/less FG and, other than being soaken wet , I had no excuse for not setting up the tripod and using a GND to bring out the FG exposure. Live and learn I guess.
