What can you guys tell me about this camera? Would it be a good compliment to the equipment i have now? I need this for a printing class im taking where i'll need to shoot slides. I'm hoping you more seasoned shooters can enlighten me on this.

thanks!

Well, it should be pretty much one of the best film cameras ever made.
You may want to go with a 1V as it's newer, but that'd be your choice.

I have the EOS 3, still in production. It's around $800, but I'd say it was a 5D but film. Don't know enough about the 1N, but if it is as nice as the EOS 3, it's worth it.

I still have an EOS 1n. Nice camera, similair to the 1V, but only 5 AF fields and a few less CFn's.
I'ld get it.
