adobe bridge question

hi all

when i double click an image(jpeg) in bridge it open's it in paint rather than photoshop. I've tried right clicking and open with but it doesn't give photoshop as an option.

it used to open in photoshop and i can't think of anything i've changed.

any help would be appreciated
