Here goes!

My very first time using ND filters. I picked up a cheap Cokin P kit last weekend, along with a 3 stop nd and 3 stop nd grad. Went straight to the beach and hung out for the sunset. I was pretty haoppy with the results. First is as it was, right out of the camera. The second had a clarity filter applied to pull out a little more detail in TopazAdjust. What do you guys think?

Thanks Joey! That is the first time my colors have been called "dope"! Very nice shot yourself. How do you find the color correcting on the lee?

I like them both! Really like the contrast and color saturation! Well done!

I haven't had any issue with it so far but then again I've only used her a handful of times. I import through LR3 and it seems to do a great job with the color correcting.

Very very nice for your first trip out! Composition wise I would personally have walked into the water and set the camera as low and close to the rocks out in the water, so they would poke up through the horizon line.

Composition in this shot is perfect and adds a lot to the scene. I get a sense of connection between the Sun and Man sitting on the beach.
