Composition in this shot is perfect and adds a lot to the scene. I get a sense of connection between the Sun and Man sitting on the beach.

Thanks Canon Lover ... that 'Man' is myself :) I put the shutter on a 10 second timer .. ran over and hoped for the best haha!

Two from yesterday. Both shots used the Singh Ray LB Colorcombo warming/intensifying polarizer, the 3 stop soft reverse grad ND, the one stop hard grad ND and the one stop soft (used upside down) grad ND.

edit:BTW, the intense blue is actually a byproduct of using auto white balance and then changing the camera profile from Standard to Camera Landscape. I liked the painterly feeling it gave the shots so I ran with it. :)

I think I mentioned it on your flickr page, but I really like how the rushing water and v shaped wave really push your eyes into the storm here. :cool:

The advantage of living on the creek. IF I have time, I can simply zoom down there and shoot, if the sunset sucks, no big loss.
