Colorado Aspen-Owl Creek Pass

These shots were taken last weekend. They both were shot with the 24-105L. The first one was at 24mm, ISO 100, /120sec@f19 (INVALID EMAIL). The second was at 105mm, ISO 100, /180thsec@f13 (INVALID EMAIL). A Singh Ray warming LB polarizer was used on both shots. What a great weekend it was! The week before it snowed 14 inches and this weekend is with heavy rains. Our timing (and luck) was perfect.

Nice shots Mark.....its hard to believe its that time of year again! Poplars sure look good in fall colours.

Great shots. I am partial to the second, I have always liked shots showing leaf and/or bark detail of aspen trees.

Both are nice, Mark, but I like the second best. I'm glad you two lucked out with such a nice week-end. Weather can make or break a trip, especially when you only have a short time.

Both shots are very nice Mark, but I think that you could give #2 more pop by adjusting the output highlights slider on the levels adjustments. I've adjusted the right-hand side to show you what I mean:
