Marathon event. They've been advertising the road closures for the past week, so I figured, why not make the most out of it..go and shoot ;)

Will post pics later.

Oh, let me know how they turned out, I shoot marathons on a freelance basis for a couple companies

Thank you Miss ;) Its murphy's law, go out without your camera, and you'll see things that are spectacular, take your camera and nothing :confused:

calicokat,
first, the photo;
good capture - a hawk in flight, thats good.
the colors are very good as well.
the photo is not sharp and you are missing a lot of details under the wings.

at the time of my comment to you, you already accumulated 40 comments in total(excluding mine), which 20 (twenty) of them are yours.
i dont think that this is right and i believe it is not according to the rules - to keep bringing your posting to the top of the first page so many times.
it is not my intention to insult you or hurt you merely to get your attention to this "over sight" on your part.
wishing you a very productive and fruitful shootings in the future.

ziggi

All I have done is responded back to people who have commented on my shot, if this is against the rules, I would like to see it in writing. Bumbing your thread for no good reason is not allowed, responding to a post is allowed last time I checked. Why not pm the mods and voice your concerns about this ;)

In regards to the critisim, looks good on my calibrated monitor, looks even better printed at 12x18, the lack of sharpness may be due to the small size it is viewed on screen. USM was applied at 300, 0.1 and 0. What do you recommend

Switching to decaf works really well! I think it is common courtesy to thank someone that complements you.
