I can't seem to change the white balance. I think I am following the instructions. I push the AF-WB button but nothing changes, nor do I get any other options. I'm looking at the LCD sceen when I push the button down but zilch changes.

I feel like an idiot, but I definitely need help.

Hi Neva,
Are you looking at the top LCD? That's where the WB options are seen. Push the
AF-WB button and turn the wheel on the back and you'll see the WB options cycle
through the choices.

Yes. I push the button and turn the wheel. I hold the button down and turn the wheel. Either way, nothing changes.

Heh heh :) It's happened to us all. I was on the verge of taking my 30D back because when I pressed the shutter it just made a worrying beeping alarm sound and flashed a red light on the front. Five minutes later, I realised I'd just put it onto timer release >_<

Yeah, we all do things like this :)
I got all frantic once when a lens of mine wouldn't focus only to
realize much, much later that it was switched to MF...
