The mountain, the clouds, the sun behind the trees the reflection... this shot has lots of things going for it :) I like it a lot! Very nice composition and great timing!

I have stood on the very same wooden platform looking at Mt Fuji (I assume that's where you were standing?).....althoug​h sadly I didn't have the equipment then that I do today!

Amazing! Yes, it's a wooden platform. When were you here? Well, you'll have to come back again with your good equipment! It's worth the trip from Manchester.

As already said, a graduated ND filter or perhaps a polariser would have improved the sky making it even better.

It was back in 2001 when I was there. It was a beautiful day too.....there wasn't a cloud on Mt Fuji for the whole day! Watched the sun set from that very platform....beautiful!
