Hi All,

I was around at my grandparent's this evening and saw this sunset, I hopped onto the roof of the house and got these with my p&ser.

This is a stitch of 4 photos

I tweaked the colours in this one a little to make it look a bit more firey and vibrant

Great pictures!!! I especially like the first one. I always love trying to photograph sunsets, as everyone is different. :)

Just the software that came with my EOS camera. Not too sure if it's the norm, but it works for me at the moment.

Cheers mate, when you say no. 2 has the makings of an excellent shot, what would make it an excellent shot? I'm not having a dig at what you're saying, I would just love to know how I can improve!

No hassle mate :)

It could be my crappy works monitor but the burning effect the sun is having on the shadows of your horizon seems to soften them.

Shooting into any kind of sunlight can be tough, I for one haven't mastered it yet.

Your sky looks perfectly exposed, no issues there whatsoever :)

I like that way of thinking ;) Just use what works.

Those images are beautiful. The clouds add interest and you were good at playing with the colours. The exposure is right on the spot too.
