I had just started taking pics in the creative modes. I suppose i was concentrating on framig the scene. I realised the building's where blurred, but i still liked it for the colours. MY PHOTOS

You can focus on the mast and still get good focus in the buildings (in fact, the mast would be the perfect spot to focus on).. just close the aperture to something like f/22 and be prepared to wait a while whilst the shot is taken
