We got a chance yesterday to visit white mountains in new hampshire to see some fall color. It seemed at least half the nearby area's population had decended there making for long queue's of traffic jam's. I did manage to get some half decent shots, hope you all like these :)

Wow! What a great collection! :) I particularly like 4 and 5 (the two 'looking up' ones) and number 6 (a zoom blur?). Very skilled shooting. Is that you in the last one?

We Scots POTNers are meeting up in 2 weeks time when we hope the colours will have developed. Right now the trees are still mostly green.

These are gorgeous, Daman, just dynamite. You may recall I was there a couple weeks ago, knowing I would miss the beautiful colors you are seeing now. Damn.

Very nice indeed. As Mike has said, the Scottish POTN bunch are meeting in two week's time, and we'll be very pleased to get shots like that.

Daman, I really liked the whole series. I really love #5 because it is leading somewhere and I love the shadows and the sunlight through the trees and the colors. Thanks for posting.

Thanks a lot Mike :) yes no 6 is a zoom blur. It isnt me in the last one but a couple of friend's who had gone with us. Hoping to see some fantastic shots from the Scots POTN meet as you have a whole plethora of fantastic photographers there!

Thanks Stan, the area did have fantastic colors and just a few miles north it was already past peak, these things change so fast its hard to catch up. Hope you can get the timing right the next time :)

Thankyou very much John, hoping to see some cracker shots from you all when you meet up, you have a collective talent pool there which is probably equal to everyone else combined on the forum!

Thankyou Suzy, no #5 is one of my favourites from the whole series too along with the last one.

Thankyou Dimitri! Glad you liked it, to be very honest I think this can be bettered and I'm not completely satisfied. I'm visiting Acadia national park next week and hope to get better shots from the visit :)

Daman, these are terrific! I thought about heading up there this weekend, but I was up there on Columbus Day weekend a few years ago and the traffic was so bad you couldn't even GET to the leaves. I headed over towards Vermont instead. Looks like I missed some beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing these.

Whoa, cute avatar there Becca :) Its good that you went to Vermont actually, it got real crazy sitting in the traffic in Lincoln. It gets on your nerves after a while i tell you.. you posted some great shots in the other thread yourself btw. Im hoping to get much much better shots than these from my Acadia visit next week.

The angle in the first picture of your second post is excellent! That's my fave without a doubt, and definitely one I would consider handing on my wall if I were you!
