I have a EF 300mm F/2.8L on order, There doesnt seem to be anything
available to protect the front glass. Does anybody make something that
can slip over the hood to protect the glass from dust between shots? Thanks

I don't believe in protection -- err, for my lenses, that is.

I use one for all of my lenses and love it. It is so much easier than dealing with lens caps during a shoot and gives much more protecxtion. Plus they are fairly cheap. Doc Klepper in the USA
