This hill is famous in the UK because it was used as a scene for a TV advert with a young boy doing a bread delivery on his bycicle. Having walked up and down the hill - I was surprised to see how steep it was.

The Hovis bread advert. It sure seems to be a steep street, and I bet all the residents will be pretty fit.

I've just came across the Hovis 120 years (external link) website where you can see the advert. Did you know that it was directed by Ridley Scott, the director of films such as Gladiator?

The accent is a Yorkshire accent - the funny thing was it was filmed about 300-400 miles from Yorkshire.
