Nice shot, Billyboy.
One little suggestion: next time try to place the focus more logically/decisively if shooting at f/2.8, or even better, crank it up to f/16 or so. ;)

So, what type of game is thes? NFL, or College...??

How did you get there? My goal is to soon start sports. Once i get my 70-200, i can start practicing, and see if i like it, and then invest in some better gear for it.

College. University of Miami. (check out the shots from the game/s in the sports section https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=225158).

I am shooting for the school paper while i am studying here at the university, so at the moment that is how im getting on the field, although i have hopes of getting picked up by a larger (and better paying) publication eventually. Sports is really fun to shoot, and ive really be enjoying it. the 70-200 is a great start for sports shooting for sure. almost every sports photographer has one. its the perfect backup to the big primes. :D

Best wishes for your goals. hope it all works out,

Mr. the Kid.

I was at USC vs Washington yesterday and witnessed the same lens madness. I was very jealous.

I used to have a "gearlist", but i realized it didnt make my photos any better.

Clever boy you are Billy, no doubt. The colour and exposure on these shots is very nice.
BTW, what course you are taking at school ? Home economics like your mentor Dante, palliative geriatric care like Ronald Sr.Jr., or something totally different, sensitive and hip like "Evolving role of women in Maldives island society" ?
