Bounced off a gold reflector to camera right. Shot manual, 2.8 @ 200 with the 24-70. Model is my granddaughter Tyler. She wants me to tell everyone (in the forum) that she is in first grade. C&C appreciated.

2 stellar exposures of a beautiful young lady and as the previous poster said, you got the eyes perfect.

:)

I like the light, very nice. And I never would have thought she was only in first grade - she looks much older. Quite the attractive young lady and you've managed a couple of good captures of her.

Yah this girl looks to be at least 10. Amazing. Great job!

Something you could try is aiming a bright light in her direction (not right at her) so her pupiles aren't so dilated.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Thanks everyone for the comments. It was an experiment all around. I don't usually shoot at 2.8 and I usually use strobes when I can.

2.8 is tough.

Bad Iron, please stop posting shots like this.
I'm trying to convince my wife that I can't possibly make good portraits without a proper (expensive) studio strobe setup, and you're giving her evidence to the contrary!

Great work!
