I agree. That looks very good. Can you explain what you did?

Yep sure, I'll have to explain later this evening though (it's 9:50am here) as I'm running a bit late for work, so when I get home I'll let you know what I did.

Nice composition Robert and seems your having fun with the super wide Sigma. Go back to the original and work the Shadows/Highlights adjustment while boosting the foreground a little yet retaining the nice sky detail.

I'm definitely having a great time with it Toney, well, when I'm not bathing it in the ocean that is. ;) :D I'll give the post processing another go for sure.

Thank you for the feedback buddy.

I didn't really do all that much Robert, I'm sure there is an easier way as I'm self taught in photoshop and I always seem to do things the hard way!

Basically what I did was use the magic wand tool to highlight the areas I wanted to work on, this being the foreground then I just messed around with the brightness and contrast and hue and saturation.

I only have photoshop elements that I got with my 300d many moons ago, so not sure what version you have, but that's how I did it.

I just recently updated to PSE4.0 from 2.0 so we're pretty much in the same boat. The shadows/highlights adjustment is a big improvement so it was worth the $35 or so I paid on eBay.

Thanks for the edit and the explanation.

Ah, a man after my own heart, buying when you can't afford it. Hey, we may both die poor, but we'll die happy. ;)

You're going to love this lens and soon you'll forget all about the bankruptcy. Congratulations and I'll look forward to seeing your really wide captures soon.

Don't I know that feeling!

I have the canon 10-22, and I just love it, couldn't be happier! Zebedee, like robert said you'll forget about everything when you have this lens.

The clouds are very nice today as well. I "think" that I might be able to get away and give it another try (it's only 10 minutes away) before it rains and re-hydrates that mud. ;) :D I'll definitely shoot it in RAW if I do and give the GND a try as well.

Thank you Dimitri.

Shoot raw Robert, nothing but raw mate, and get these NDgrads in use, this picture should be hung up on a wall.
