Hey Guys

When I bought my 350D a couple of months back, I bought a Sigma 55-200 lens to go with it. Recently, I read loads of reviews on the Tamron 70-300 tele-macro lens and how good it was for the money. So, my wife bought me one for our anniversary.

Thing is, do I still need the Sigma lens?

Any comments

Most likely not. The Tamron should be sufficient.

No, especially as there is an overlap with your 15-88 kit lens.

As long as you are happy with the new Tamron, I'd say sell the Sigma - You can then put the money towards your next photographic 'investment' :-)

Sweet I want a kit lens in that range  Sounds useful for almost everything I shoot. LOL
