Hi,

I have found a Sigma EX CPL 105mm for £130 on Warehouseexpress but wonder if anyone can beat this?? It is to fit on the outside of my Hitech holder.

Cheers

Still cheaper than Warehouse Express!

Oh, and this just means you have to buy more kit to make P&P worthwhile

I always buy mine from Hong Kong via ebay.

If you want a Hoya, choose a blue one.

There are lots of suppliers to choose from.

I did look on Ebay but struggled to find much over 77mm. It has to be 105mm to stop vignetting with the 17-40. Thanks.

Who told you that? I'm using a 77mm filter on my 17-40 with no apparent vignetting.

See my Peru and Bolivia photos on my website (particularly the landscapes shots in Bolivia).

George

17-40? i would use a 105mm on my 120-300 2.8. i've never seen vignetting on the 17-40. if you're really worried, try the B+W mrc slim...

I read that on a APS-C body, regular CPL won't vingnette at 17mm while on FF it will. Most ppl opt for the slim cpl for that as it costs a lot less than a 105mm one.

Great shots are like great parking spaces... if you're not quick, it's gone!
