Nice - tought to get too if my experience with gulls is anything to go by. Did you just wait in a likely spot and shoot away?

Thanks Damian, yes - I was in a hide by the lake and just waited for something, anything, to fly by ;) thats the beauty of digital - it cost nothing to learn, I just change settings and shoot, change settings and shoot and learn a little bit more each day - I'll get there! (looking foreward to POTN meet)

All taken on my 20D with the 100-400L ( I think they were all shot on 'aperture priority' at 5.6 and ISO 400 - thats without going back thru' EXIF;) )
