Just wondered if anyone had photographed a night game at Tamworth before? What's the lighting levels like, reasonable ala Grays Athletic/dull ala Gravesend/worse than dull?

Errrr... yes I have. I seem to remember letting my roll of TMAX3200 simmer for a fair while. Although it was a few years back so there's every chance that they have improved the lights now!

Well, you have to live in hope.

I wish I could offer a more quantitative reply... hopefully someone else will chime in with a more up to date answer.

Have a good trip. You're putting on some pretty serious mileage at the moment! Here's to a few home games, eh?

Gav

You aren't wrong about the mileage, i've done many miles over the years taking pictures of a variety of things including half way round the world and to the top of a mountain!

I wasn't erring on not going to Tamorth having done Kiddy Saturday but then it seems like a certain Mr T may make a return, he's back in the squad.

I can report that the lights at Tamworth aren't great, OK but not great.

There are banks of lights along the touchlines, not in the corners or behind the goals.

You can get 1/500th 2.8 @3200 in the middle of the pitch. However, if shooting the penalty area from behind the goal everything is in shadow as the lights are behind the players.
