just ordered the tammy 17-50 f2.8. Honestly, I love the focal length on the kit but hate the kit so, considering the paid gig i'm currently doing I decided to take the oppurtunity to pick it up... got a wonderful price and will be compensated by work... so thanks Dave for pointing it out to me.. if anybody has some example shots would love to see them....

Did you buy it at a local store or an internet store or something else? I would buy one right now for $300 or even a bit more.

Yes, please share your source. I've been saving for this lens, as I hear the IQ is excellent.

I personally wouldn't sell mine used for less than $400 if I was selling it, which btw I wouldn't sell.
I hope you get it soon. It's a great lens. I've had other members of LAShooters try it out and both were impressed with the optics and range of that lens.

I think the best way to stop buying camera equipment is to STOP GOING INTO FORUMS... and I'll do this after I get three more lenses and a flash. :)

This is quite true. I left these forums for just a few months over the summer because of some work and I had absolutely NO desire to buy more equipment. Now, I can't stop thinking about all the things that I need....
