I seriously considered one, but opted for the 70-200 f4L on the basis of build quality. It is said to be a very good lens, but don't know if I'd get it from Ritz.

I've taken some shots at 300mm handheld and low light conditions, and the pictures turned out great. Not having to use the tripod for many shots is a time saver.
