This is one of my favorite wildflowers. It is a spiderwort. It has so many graceful curves.

Oct 11, 2006 09:52 | #7 Thanks Elisabeth. I do try to go out on cloudy or overcast days or find subjects in the shade. My favorite is right after it quits raining to catch some droplets on the flowers. I do carry a collapsable 12" reflector with me to add some light under the flower. I used it on the 2nd one but not the 1st one. You can see the difference on the buds hanging down. The 2nd shot was with my Sigma 150mm macro. 1/20 sec. F8. Raw format.
