Well I finally added another weapon to the arsenal, a Sigma 10-20mm.
And yes I had to run out right away and give it a try. This is the first shot from the new lens.
Just a simple quick shot @ 18mm

Thanks for looking.
C&C always.

Good one, Frank. I knew you had some secret spots for photography. LOL The only issue I have with this is the over-dark patch of sky. Too much polarizer? BTW, congrats on the new lens. You'll love the ultra wide.

Dang Frank, if this is a "simple quick shot" I'd love to see what you can do when you put some effort into it. ;) This is really a fantastic capture.

Congratulations on the new lens and on such a fine first shot.

Looks very nice Frank, my kind shot _ only suggestion is to set up an account with a image hosting site so your work doesn't suffer due to JPEG compression.

Thanks Stan, actually I just happened to stumble into this place by accident, have more to post when their ready.
The sky is a little over processed, after underexposing it I then oversaturated it just a little to much.

Really appreciate your comments Bluedog.
I don't know to much about setting up an account with an image hosting site but if you like to through a few clues my way I'd sure to look into it.
Thanks again

Thanks for your response Dimitri, yeah maybe I should have widened it up just a tad, considering the falls dropped off just feet behind me.

My eyes were immediately drawn to the sky in your photo, Frank. I love it! I really like how you stopped the shutter down to allow for the silky water look. Congrats on the new lens!

Frank its fairly simple. I'd suggest using : click here > flicker (external link) and setting up a free account. That way you keep your work with in the Forum guidelines of 800x800 yet not compress them to 100K in size. Just save the JPEG at maximum quality.
