Maternity shots...

A couple of "not so typical" maternity shots of a friend at her baby shower. As you can see, the sun was bright and intense, so not really photo friendly lighting but using some flash to eliminate the harsh shadows, we got a few nice shots IMO. The BG in the second shot is intentionally overexposed...what do you guys think?....personally I like it but I would appreciate additional input.

I like the second one better. But I think the crop is a bit too tight.

I like them too... But i feel that # 1 is hard to focus on the subject. (Contrast is so similar between the subject and the BKG)
