Shot these while on vacation in Brazil. These storks are huge, perhaps four feet tall.

What an unusual stork and nicely captured too. The first shot with the gator in the background makes a good environmental shot and with a good in-flight and the youngsters in the nest makes these a good series Paul, well done.

Thanks for posting these excellent captures of this improbable species, Paul. Look at the neck on that thing! Did it swallow a grapefruit?!? I love the in-flight shot especially.

Wow...excellent shots, especially the first! Love that black hood. What a unique bird. It better watch out for that caiman behind it!
