I shot 3 dozen frames and thx to POTN and practice, majority are keepers. :)

Still testing new lens - should I send back the 35L? :)

320iso, Av mode, eval mtr.
USM = 170, 0.5rad, 0thold after downsizing to 800w

Love the second one.

But if you're not happy, feel free to hand the 35L over -- I'm sure I'll be able to find some use for it... :-P

Bring on the day when I can afford an L prime ...

One aspect I like on the first one is the "angel wing" -the tent window.

To be honest I hadn't even noticed the angel wing in the first -- maybe cos the lighting is a bit flat and the face is OOF. Anyway, both shots prove that you should keep the 35L ;-)a

I loved my 35l before I traded it - if I had the cash I would have kept it but it is a very limiting lens at times...
