My S2IS manual shows the postcard size at M2 (1600X1200) on Page 38 of the manual.
Page 24 states that the date and time do not display on a photo but can me added when printed.

My latest A420 has it too. Actually, I don't miss it. As I mentioned I had it on other cameras and I think it looks ugly and you can't remove it afterwards except by careful editing. Now, on a cam corder, thats another story. I turned date and time on at very beginning each time and then off and now, 20 or more years later on some, it really helps the old memory as to when I took it. Stills always have it in their Properties, so that's good enough for me. Another feature of Canon S2 and I'm sure lots of cameras, is if you want extra info stored with the photo, you can just preview it and then press the mike button and tell what you want about it and then listen to it later. I have tried to photograph the horizon but it's always too far away.

It might look ugly, but sometimes its handy too. Not all photos look good with the date stamped on the right corner. And you cant even read it on your LCD screen, the letters are too small, but you can always use the DISP button to see when a photo was taken too. Canon S70, Canon Ixus 65 (named SD630 in the usa)

RE: audio, you can preview the photo in your camera and if you have added sound, press Menu, Sound recorder and you can play it back. If you want to hear the sound on computer, you need a program such as Zoom Browser and download the photo as well as the sound file (its in a separate folder on your camera memory card) Then add the sound to the photo and you can then play it in Zoom Browser. I think the best use is to just play the photo in your camera to refresh your memory on what you had to say. Remember 'the old days' when we wrote the info on the back of a print? I have tried to photograph the horizon but it's always too far away.

However, it can't be there is no way to stamp the date/time. ![]() I heard there is some kind of programs that you have to download it in order to make the date/time stamped on the pictures, so is this right? If it's right, then this will really helps me. Use the supplied cdrom with your camera, zoombrowser software can make date and time on your photo. Canon S70, Canon Ixus 65 (named SD630 in the usa)
