Here's some shots I took at Giants Stadium on Sunday 10/08. Taken with my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8

All CC welcome. Thanks for looking.

1- Amani Toomer with a nice catch.

2- Hand off to Tiki Barber.

Hey Tony!

Cool shots! I was at the game also . . . was pissed that I forgot my camera because where I was sitting was a great angle for a panoramic of the stadium.

So security didn't give you a problem with bringing a large lens into the stadium?

GO BIG BLUE!!!

Mark - I had a girl bring it in on her shoulder. They only checked her pocketbook. She had a sweater wrapped around her waist and the camera. The only thing I had on me was the 70-200. I'd like to have gotten a wide shot of the stadium too. The game was slow cause of all the field goals. But after the TD by Burress it picked up. GO GIANTS!

Nice work. Bringing in the equipment, that is. Nice shots too.

Yeah, doesn't it suck that you got to sneak it in. Like, you're really going to be in competition with the pros there and all those 400 2.8s.

They're such dicks in Giant Stadium when it comes to that.

Ain't that the truth! I have no problems bringing my equipment into Yankee Stadium.

I don't think it's so much "competition" as it is having a big lens in the face of others around you trying to watch the game. At lambeau you can bring in a lens 12" or less. This allows for use of the Canon 100-400 though as it's only 10" fully extended.
