Manhattan cityscape

I've been rooting through my holiday shots and came across this, it's shot from upper manhattan in a helicopter. Sorry to all the horizontal horizon sticklers out there, I know it might not be to everyone's taste but I thought the leading lines carried it through. Like to hear your thoughts.

The lack of a horizontal skyline caught my eye, but in a good way because the shot had the look of being taken from the air and added to the dynamism of it. The B&W also lends a moody/overcast look which I presume matched the day anyway.

The horizon being tilted is a bit bothersome to me. I'd prefer a bit more contrast and a duotone for more texture. Also burn in the clouds a touch for a more dramatic look.

I think this shot has great untapped potential left in it.

TW. I've taken on board what you have said, thanks for the feedback, I think it could definitely benefit from a bit of tweaking. I've done a quick edit. Burned the clouds a little more, cooled the shadows and warmed the highlights, also cropped a little out of the clouds. Keeping the horizon though

I usually go crazy about skylines, but I am digging the tilt in this one! Very balanced

i love it, very dramatic sky. and i think the horizon tilt makes it more dynamic.

might not be so effective if I didnt know it was taken from a chopper but as it is the tilt evokes the feeling of speed.

I normally like straight horizon lines, but this is really nice as it definitely gives a feeling of flying.
